In Civ 3, the Pygmies are a SHORT and MILITARISTIC Civilization, therefore they start out with the techs 'Platform Shoes' and 'Blowgun Weaponry'.

Like the Warrior, the Midget Warrior is useless. It requires poison dart frogs to build.
