Russia has problems?
Well, Roman - no, sorry. I'm not an expert for AIDS.that Russia seems to have such bad prospects for the future and merely think that Russian leaders should try to tackle the difficult problems now, before it is too late.
Anyway, my concern for Russia proves that Pan-Slavism did not die yet.Rome rules

Szoszon, it is absolutely correct that the word "slave" originates from the word "Slav".
As a kind of retaliation, the Slavs call the Germans as "mute man" - niemec.

Yeah, it is true.
In early middle ages most slaves in Western Europe were taken from Slavic countries. Hence the word.
And it is true about Germans too(although it is more like "mute man" not "dumb man", as Germans were thought as not able to speak the "normal" language, i.e. Slavic
)

In middle ages the dualist/gnostic/manicheist sects were accused, among other things, of homosexual practices. Without getting into details, there were two main groups of these sects in Europe - Western European (Southern French) albigensians and Eastern European (Bulgarian) bogomils. As the sect however moved to the West from the East, in many countries (including England) they were often refferred to as "Bulgars". With time the word was distorted and acquired the present day meaning.The problem with leadership is inevitably: Who will play God?
