Zulus were only ONE tribe. Africa got many of them, which are certainly culturally under a name... I think it's Swahili but I'm not so sure. They could stil have the same leader, since Shaka WAS a great leader, but... just the civ's name

Actually, that would be the Bantu. But the Bantu were not very unified, many would argue that there weren't really a civilization but just a language group (same goes for the Swahili). Personally I'd prefer the Zimbabwians or Mali. The former were from roughly the same region as the Zulu (Zimbabwe is actually the capital of the Zulu in Civ3 ) while they most certainly were a single unified and important civilization while the latter were IMHO one of the most important (and most underestimated) civilizations in the history of mankind (not as important as the Romans or Chinese but still in the top 16).Last edited by Locutus; November 2, 2001, 15:10.

Nah... having a Bantu civ is almost like having an Indo-European civ that covers Germans, Celts, Romans, Greeks, Russians, Persians and Indians. I'd say we stick with Zulu, or have Nubians, Malians, Zimbabwe, or Songhai.Poor silly humans. A temporarily stable pattern of matter and energy stumbles upon self-cognizance for a moment, and suddenly it thinks the whole universe was created for its benefit. -- mbelleroff
