  • Firaxis! Question about UU's!!

    As we near closer to the eventual release of the game that is going to steal lots of my time, I want to congratulate Dan, Sid, and the rest of the Firaxis team.

    Now, will the game editing/scenario tools in the game allow players to add UU's to the existing ones?

    I would like to be able to create 3 or 4 different UU's for each civ if possible. If the tools do not allow this, would there be a way to change such parameters in a rules.txt, or perhaps in Civ3.exe with a hex editor?
    To us, it is the BEAST.

        I think Dan meantioned somewhere else that you could add all the UU's you wanted
        I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

          Actually, it's mentioned in a developer update:

          An interesting byproduct of the inclusion of these "civ-specific units" is that scenario and mod developers will now easily be able to create an entire roster of units that can only be built by certain Civilizations.
