Sorry. I missed something: The old thread is posted in the general forum, not this one. It might be wrong, but here is the old thread on this.

          Whoo!

I think this proves conclusivly once and for all that we Apolytoners are litsened to. We want an alternative peaceful trigger for golden age- we get an alternative peaceful trigger for golden age. This means they had to change the attributes to fit the "ethnic" wonder of the particular civs in question, and when none of these where present they put in some of the ideas put forth here as well.

          Great stuff, Firaxis!

Let's make Japanese Militaristic and Commercial since Aztecs are already Militaristic and Religious. Then make either Greeks or Persians Scientific and Industrious and we have every category covered.

Actually I liked the Persians being Militaristic/Commercial...
Perhaps Militaristic/Commercial and Industrious/Scientific turned out unbalanced(?)
Naah... -perhaps they just noticed that the Persians were not that militaristic...
Chinese being militaristic is due to recent history and like snapcase said: cause of "their" wonders: Art of War, Great Wall.
                Japanese being Militaristic/Commercial... puuh ok....
Greek/Persians being Industrious/Scientific - don't think so... after all we don't need all combinations!?

So the good news is that our discussions have affected - the bad are that we are so close to release already. (Oh why cann't they just wait and finnish it)
