My bet is India. It seems that Firaxis use a chronological order for their weekly Civs. Babylonians(sumerians) was dated back almost 4000BC, Egyptians 3000BC, Greeks(with inclusion of Minoans) 2000BC, Chinese 1800BC. Indian civilization appeared around the same time as Chinese so they should be next.

They have already released the Greeks. They were last week's civ of the week.About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. With a simple click daily at the Hunger Site you can provide food for those who need it.

Well, seeing how the Greeks were last week, I don't think they'll pop up again .
My bet is probably the Persians... though Indians being next wouldn't suprise me. Dark horse = Zulus.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

What if the civ of the week is completely random? Maybe Firaxis is just drawing a civ from a hat?'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

stupid firaxis with their stupid modern-units-gag.
sorry for a lapse of forgotten history, but how far back did the russians go? i remember them being conquered by the Mongols."I've lived too long with pain. I won't know who I am without it. We have to leave this place, I am almost happy here."

I'm thinking Persians. Certainly older than the Romans, and older than the Indians depending on your definition...Världsstad - Dom lokala genrenas vän
