AU 203: The Power of Communism

Nah, it took me about 10 minutes trying to build one in my other two cities to figure out what was wrong.

I'm too worried about expansion to bother with a wonder just yet, and I don't have enough contacts yet to be a techtrader, so I thought it was broken when I went to check from your post.

So, we're all agreed as to the restrictions on war? In short, I think we've settled on: 1) cannot declare war, 2) cannot invade or bombard into an enemy's territory when at war. I believe that sums it up.

Important!

As with AU 202, unless you want to see the entire map before the game even begins, remember to cover the bottom right side of your screen when loading up this Scenario (only for the PTW version). You could try closing our eyes instead, but clicking to begin the game might be tricky (sadly, this advice comes from experience).

Ohh... Communism. I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever switched to it in a single game in all my time playing CivIII. The conditions set on this game should prove... interesting... we'll see how it goes...

Oh, are conquest and domination the only victory conditions enabled, or are they they just the ones we have to aim for?

For a little more clarification: If the AI declares war on me when I am not in Communism, am I restrained to simply remaining on the defensive?

If the AI declares war on you, you may attack the enemy's units only if they are in your territory or in neutral (non-claimed) territory. So, yes, you're restrained to remain on the defensive, but you can use whatever resources you have at our disposal to mount a successful defense.

DaveMcW, Conquest and Domination are set as the only valid victory types in the scenario.

alexman, if the AI beats you via Domination, will you be disappointed or pleased?
