At Monarchy Level
I am really supprised myself by lasting this long into the game.
I know early on I had to find and keep iron for my legions.
Which had a tough time of it even though they were built in barracks.
As I picked on just the Carth's over the years, it took my several units over years to seige and capture the capitol, and when they attacked one of my cities, just one year and one unit AGGH...
We traded couple of cities back and forth. Until Persia stepped in with their calvary and took the pressure off. I know he had the units to capture the capitol, but left it to me.?
I caved into everyone elses demands over the years just to save my hide. I manged a few petty trades I think. It appears everytime I get above a certiain level of gold, someone demands some. I remeber having to pay 100 for a territory map....AGGH
SO the Persians have railroad, I have only managed to build the Heroic. I will be lucky to build one more wonder.
Over all playing this has made me stop and think inbetween my frustrations. After all this is only my second attempt at monarchy level.
