    Do not attack or othewise obtain cities founded by the AI. Everything else is allowed. Jshelr and I are also playing by Iron PBEM etiquette.

    The other alternative is not to have any restriction on attacking or obtaining AI cities.

    Of course, it's your game so you can play any way you like, although that might not be as good for comparison purposes.

        If possible, we really should get AU 504 (SP) up, sooner rather than later. Same admonitions... don't read the DARs you shoudn't. Choice of the two civs.

                  It will be odd playing with advanced knowledge of the map. Then again I had advanced knowledge of the map on 503 the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times I played and I did worse

                      No, Jawa meant that people who do not intend to play the MP version, have already been reading DAR threads which include screenshots. So an SP version would be somewhat spoiled for them.

                      Nevertheless, maybe we can convinvce Sir Ralph to release an SP version soon. It doesn't look like there will be many more MP games starting.

                            oh, and can anyone post an example of a good DAR by someone who is not an insane poster but just good quality DAR (from an earlier one of course)? I'd like to start my DAR but i haven't an idea of exactly what it should contain.
