    More to come... gotta sleep.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

What's the deal with creating mixed armies with ancient cavalry in them instead of pure cavalry armies? Also, why stay in Feudalism so long when you're so horribly behind in tech?

Extra utility for the non-upgradable ACs.

        [Edit: Corrected above.]

I stayed in Feudalism 'cause... well, partially because I'm an idiot... that whole millenium spent in the jungle highlands just messed me up.

I did have a purposeful reason coming up though, which will be revealed in the next DAR!!

Oops sorry, correction: I'm not done with this DAR...

So, the Indians were seriously pissing me off at this point… and WORRYING me, with Delhi at 15500 in culture.

As much as it pained me, I changed vectors… heck, the Mongols were out of it now in any case, and I could get destroy them at my pleasure… and geared up for India’s ruin.

F*ck you, Gandhi! (That is seriously funny. )

Actually, this was seriously IMPORTANT… I needed to do everything in my power to slow India down on the culture front. This, of course, kicked India into Fascism.

By now I had Nationalism… drafting and poprushing insanity!!

1902 AD: Aaaah, screw it… We all know the feeling, those friggin’ Mongols were a stain on MY continent!! Demolition ensues… by 1906 AD, they have been ejected from their ancestral lands… and from this earth. Buh-bye!!

In that same year, Motor Trans is completed (dunh dunh, chickachickowww, chickachickowww… ooooh yeah), and Flight is begun.

[Delhi watch: 16180 in culture… also, India: 91322 total, Inca: 34791]

                  India, here I come!!! :grr:

(btw, Portugal is still in the game… one tile island SW of the western continent… you know what THAT means!! J )

1926 AD: Flight is completed, and the Incans FINALLY enter the modern age. The Ottomans are thankfully giving Gandhi furniture, er, I mean, a smackdown, but the Delhi watch is still worrisome at 17030 culture. Also, good news, the Ottomans have now converted to Communism, with the Indians still being Fascist b*stards.

The entire Incan peoples have decided to enter a wartime footing… the attack fleet is nearing completion:

                      But that’s not all:

[Editorial note, to be re-visited in the appropriate threads: I think the AU Mod needs some tweaking in terms of modern naval movement… Battleships and Carriers are particularly annoying, and I ended up really just focused on Cruisers to match Transports at 6 moves, and Destroyers as wolfpacks/coastal bombardiers.]

A hint of things to come…

                        India’s GWs now include:

Delhi: GLib, Oracle, Sistine, Shakespeare, Newton, Univ Suffrage, SETI
                        Bombay: Magellan, Internet
Madras: Copernicus, Knights Templar, ToE, Hoover, UN
                        Bangalore: Smith, Manhattan Project
                        Bengal: Longevity

As Arrian might say, that is looking like Ultimate Power… NOT!!!

                        (Don’t tell Sir Ralph… he’ll go nuts about India’s city placement. )
