    SG,

The Hutfinder program works fine on my PC at work (where I don't have Civ), but when I tried it on my home PC I got this error:

    "Run time error 339

Component COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid."

The odd thing is that both PCs are running Windows XP. I don't suppose you have an idea how to correct this? Thanks.

The error relates to the common dialog control that handles the load and save bits - the program was developed on an XP machine and runs on my 98SE at home - sounds to me like a minor system bug - does your hmae machine have the offending .ocx file? if not port it from work - but the improperly registered bit sounds bad - I shall think on...

        Wow, quick response.

I was an idiot and after I got the error I didn't search for the file. I'll copy it from my work computer and take home just in case.

I've not had many other errors with my PC, though it's new and I haven't done much with it yet.

        Thanks.
