As far as I know these were not premade maps or scenario's.
But it happened 4 or 5 times in a couple of hundred games.

Some of us are just luckyer then others I guess

Changing rules.exe might do it, but I do wonder the impact of scenarios and premade maps on this. I don't use either and have never changed the rules.exe which might explain why it has never happened to me.

Hundreds????Then you would think it would have happened in at least one of the Thousands of games for me

Were you hosting so we know they're kosher?

wouldn't know, never screwed with it. Like to keep mine clean since I host to many MP games and NEVER want to be accused like others.

That game for advancer/capitol was just a normal save game.Nothing altered in any way.Happened between 3000 and 2500 bc.

I even had one once in a MP 2x2 king level game at 3800bc!..that shocked the @#$% out of me.Site had 2 whales as the specials

I'm surprised you haven't seen it.It is rare but just loading and do nothing but tip should yeild one fairly consistantly by 1ad certainly.
The only thing that matters to me in a MP game is getting a good ally.Nothing else is as important.......Xin Yu

Groundhog Day is an American movie in which the protagonist is doomed to relive the same day over and over ...

It is rare that I don't have my capital down by 3000

I think I've only played a handfull of less than deity/raging games in my life. That might have something to do with it.

When I was testing the no city challange for the first time, I was resetting huts to see how many units/techs (the right ones) I could get to see how possible it was. That game alone I must have tipped/reset over a thousand times. Never a city.
I played that challange for over a month. I had to restart 5 or 6 times until the AI built a city on the coast so I could take it to build ships. MANY MANY hut tips, (I did stop resetting when I did the challange for real) but I still tipped over a hundred huts in those games prior, Never a city.

Strange. Maybe difficulty level has something to do with it. I can't think of any other explanation.

Sure. Destroy enemy fleets. Nukes on water squares don't cause pollution.
