Samson's recent posts about doing OCC with smaller cities inspired me to a new fortnight game. It is a slightly edited random map. The city site has two whales and two wine, with a plains square as the centre. This means that you have exactly the right amount of food for 4 citizens when you work the 4 specials. For this game, you are not allowed to grow your city larger than size 4.
There was a hut next to the starting position which I already popped to take away at least some of the luck. It gave a horseman. You can download the zip file with the save here. Good luck.

. Found I had entirely different priorities - sanitation, refrigeration, medicine - why bother, picked up some nasty techs in huts though. Best I got was a tech every 4 turns. Needed to build a manufacturing plant to get over 30 shields (structural every turn using 1 freight). Eventually landed in 1934, 2 years before Egyptians and 7 years before the Carthaginians. Should have been much sooner if i hadn't of got sidetracked on the way to Monarchy. I'll post the log later.
A Viking ship started killing my caravans, so I thought it would be a smart idea to move them inland and leave them nothing to kill. Unfortunately I didn't think about paratroopers.
