  • A few general questions..

    Hi all,

Just found this site. Just a few questions.. What do "OCC and ICS" mean. If there is somewhere on this page I should like please point them out.

    Hi Joofoo and welcome.
OCC is 'One City Challenge' play at deity with one and only one city and get to AC - serious fun and does wonders for your micromanagement skills - for an expert guide see the 'Paulicy' here.
ICS is the other extreme, the 'Infinite City Strategy (Sleaze)' in which a zillion villages spread like locusts across the world - a virtually unbeatable strategy -- for DaveV's definitive guide see here.
Although there is much wisdom spread throughout these fora and the associated archives, we have tried to highlight the more important information in the 'Great Library' temporarily housed in the sticky thread at the top of this forum.
    Good civin'

LOL @ La Fayette (and myself)

so - you've found me out - a lecturer that can't spell (in his own language) so shoot me!

Not Cotes du Rhone, last night was Corbiere - a tad closer to your home I think? no excuse for mistakes like that in the morning however ...

Very clever SG. MPG and MPGE both mean Multi-Player Gold Edition. CiC means the add-on scenario pack, "Conflicts in Civilization". FW means the expansion pack, "Fantastic Worlds." ToT means Test of Time which is a type of Civ, slightly different where you can play on AC once you land there.
