Tonight I sent a diplo to set up a post to American's capitals. Afterwards whenever my ally gave me 20 bucks I got my whole turn's income. Not working if I had more than 500 golds. Anybody experienced this?

As usual, good catch Xin. I appreciate the money you gave all of us other players to even things out in our game. Once you have the details worked out, post in the cheat thread so it will be recorded... Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean or did with my capitol and your diplo - I thought I expelled him just before ending my turn, but you did something with him giving me a pretext for declaring war the very next turn. Since I expelled him literally a split second before advancing the game to you (you followed me), could that have something to do with this bug? Did the game recognise I expelled your diplo?

I was in a game once where if you loaned someone money they got way more somehow. Don't remember the details tho.<---is this the same as you found?
Also in one game when someone took out another's city they got the usual plunder..
buttttt the nation that lost the city got a bunch of gold too!!! It was like 1'000 or more to me when I lost a city.

Berz: my diplo was there listening to your chats. As long as the diplo was there I could see your conversation. For example I knew Bird and you were trying to trade settler. That's when I noticed the bug. I suddenly got more money when Bird loan me 20 bucks. I also got more money when buying your settler. However when I got more than 500 in reserve the effect seemed disappear.

Again another tribute to XIN. He tested it and refused to gain advantage by giving us all money to even it out. His only error was in communicating it at first, he left his chat on to all and mentioned he had placed a listening post up. Thanks for the warning.
Ming, Congrats on 8000.

The whole game last night was "buggy." Half the time you couldn't contact people on chat. My civ went into anarchy out of the blue b/c of a "scandal," apparently b/c it thought I did something to xin (he got a message that I had done some kind of espionage to him), which I hadn't. I think Vlad's gerbils were loose all over the place, not just in his cable modem."I think the advantages by the proposal which I have made are obvious and many, as well as of the highest importance."

markusf... Did you have a listening post estabished with the player you asked for money from? That seems to be what set it off. (just guessing)
It was really weird. And just what the game needs, another bug which provides free money... Sigh...Keep on Civin'

They have to go into the capitol. The dip "standing" there is really kinda not there.Xin should have disbanded it from the home city and you would not have seen it but the listening post would remain.
is it still smokeless in Kansas?
