I ran the title of this thread through a Finnish-English translator program I found on the web. It actually says, "I am a double log-in you idiots!"

Warrior. Any unit's finest task in the early game is to institute martial law. On deity, anyway. And a warrior does that just as well as a phalanx.

Also, it is faster to build, so you can concentrate on settlers to found new cities and the early wonders, like Colossus and Hanging Gardens.

And if you plan on building Leonardo's Workshop later on, it will be upgraded anyway.

But in the end, the best unit of all is the NON-unit. Explore the lands from the beginning and check every hut you can lay your cold hands on, to get units, gold and advances. Use some of the free units for further exploration, and send the rest back to defend and keep your citizens happy.

Excellent point. If you man your cities with found units, low cost city defense.

Warrior. If things go badly then you can restart. Actually, if things go badly, you may have to restart. It's only a short-term solution anyway, you're not going to defend cities with either warriors or phalanxes for long...Leo's Workshop will see to that (or archers, pikemen, musketeers et al).
