    Or Freeciv...
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Floyd had to install the patch first. We did get a test game running in the end. The real fun will start later today at 21:00-23:00 CET.

          I'm waiting 21:00 CET impatiently. ;-)

Special thanks to CapTVK for his support and kindness.

I'm not beginner in Civ2. I don't have experience in MP game only. I spent many, many hours playing Civ2 single on deity level. However, it doesn't mean I'm good opponent for you in MP. It's new experience for me and I will do my best. ;-)

MP and SP are TOTALLY different games. Playing against somebody that actually thinks is a BIG DIFFERENCE. I hope you enjoy it.

            Good luck.
            Keep on Civin'

yeah good luck, just remember to duck when the catapults start throwing their rocks....haha

and don't be discouraged, it takes a few games to make the adjustment...

too many braggarts have come through here stating they are deity gods, then they get their a$$es handed to them in their first mp game and we rarely hear from them again

So true... it's amazing how much tougher it is. You start to realize just HOW STUPID the AI really is.

And it's far more fun beating up on somebody who can "feel the pain"

I like Civ too much, than first and possibly another defeats don't discourage me.

I'm going learn, collect experiences... and back as a really hard player :-)

Defeats are the best lessons, I think.

I've lost fun playing SP. It's boring. I need sth new, such as MP.

Yes... I still find it addicting even though we have played for years. I still have that "one more turn" desire.

And good luck on school. Don't let a Civ addiction keep you from graduating

There's no really problem at the time. I've just passed my winter exams and have winter holiday.

But... hearing words like heroin, civspotting... I remember this condition when Civ I and II appeared... And I'm really afraid about my summer semester because I'm sure I'll love MP.
