Hey peoples, how r u all? well im leaving for the UK tomorrow and pretty excited about that. The USA has been very interesting......California rocked!! The amusement parks are as good as you think, if not better!! Knotts Berry was Em's and my fav - rollercoaster galore!!!!! Followed closely by Universal studios, then Disneyland. It was cool to meet up with my cousins as well! They live in a beautiful part of California, called Laguna beach... along the coast line. Chicago is really pretty... experiencing my first real winter!!! and when i say SO COLD that is an understatement! Very strange to have to scrape 2 inches of snow off the car b4 you want to go somewhere! Living with an american family has been quiet an experience... im grateful to have spent time and seen what Em's daily life is but how she does it... i dont know! The kids are just so different...but i can only say for the ones i have met... actually americans are heaps different... its been a huge culture shock! and the differences from Californians (much more like us...same sense of humor... more laid back etc, bit more used to tourists i guess) to Chicagon's, (very competitive, its american or its crap... bla bla bla) its like going from a different country when you go from state to state... all i can say is im proud to be an Australian! The shops rock! Have got some really really good bargains and been to some really nice cafe's with Em. I luuuuuvvvvv Krispy creme donuts mmmmmm.... donuts... Well i definately wanna come back to California... much more touristy than Chicago. The beaches were heaps nice and the weather was good! Oh Ice skating!!! At Millenium park in downtown Chicago.. now that was fun, lol, Em just couldnt get it, lol!!!! was an outside rink on the main road, all lights and stuff.. was very pretty. The Rainforest Cafe was really cool, and i got to drink !!!!!! Had some of the best cocktails i have ever had and they were cheap! Ive really enjoyed my time here in the states, being with Em, shes still as beautiful as ever. Will be sad to leave her but shes tough and will pull these little yankees into line. They hate being called that
Hope all is well in ozville and i hope my car's going good dad!!!
