I have realized for some time now that by the 17th or the 18th thread here, the follow up posts have little relevance with the initial topic or purpose for which the post was written.

The end result is that my email box is cluttered with "You have a new post"... very irritating since I know the new posts have nothing relevant to add to the original discussion.
