I think war is supposed to be that way. The only way to do anything is set up a proper seige. I believe that was the intent.
With that being said Im sure your welcome to join in the new version. Im just worried that with Kobra dropping out (and no relacement yet) and Yop losing interest it is going to be hard keeping this one going.

Yes, I agree. Where is the new PBEM? I can play as Sweden (I like play as Sweden) or as Spain. In fact, I like to play as any civ but Ottomans and French (I'm playng French in the other PBEM)...
