On a somethingawful side project, users who learned of a genuine Korean arcade where you ram your tumb up a rubber ass as hard and fast as possible decided to photoshop other "arcade games which should never exist"

    Here's one of the entries:

Makes you wonder about the Koreans though........I think I'd prefer civ2 to their game.

If the game ran until you died, it wouldn't be a very big money maker. Most of us could play it for days on the original payment

They'd never make any money on an arrangement like that. Unless they made the AI a heck of a lot better.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Mybe the AI starts off like it does in Civ III... you know, multiple units already on the board, and they know where you are

Arcade games that potentially take a long time often work through making you pay for time though.

yes but in the old days i could play pacman, ms pacman, dk, galaga, centipede, missle command, 1942,1943, bubble bobble, tron, etc....pretty much any game from that era for hours, or for as long as it took to beat the game on some of them....dragons lair 1 man, space ace 1 man etc....

nowadays i go through quaters too quickly...but then again, its all free credits on MAME emulators and roms not that i support pirating or anything like that

Best arcade game when I was a kid was Double Dragon.

I pumped alot of quarters into that stupid game, but was pretty damned good at kicking the bad guys a$$ once I got the hang of it.
