O.k., O.k., I'll admit not EVERYTHING, but almost...

Thanks for the RPS kudos though.

But I will say that I'd love to get you into a game of Diplomacy once. I think you would be a natural at it. Until you met up with me.

see now , were being reasonable again.....

the civ credit i will give you is as follows, you know how to siege and with a lead can be a pain in the neck...

however, you don't expand well (yet) but we talked about this and your ability to maintain your advantage or see the bigger question during the game is still under investigation

you have improved vastly....but your still not in the heavyweight division

        Re: Holding a lead...

That's because I drink too frigging much during the games. I am going to try a game where I don't drink until I'm blind and see how it works...

To give you some credit, the things we had discussed about production helped me out immensely. My head has been in the wrong place for much of my 2x gaming...

I don't mind not being a heavyweight... Knocking the heavies out everyonce in a while or stinging them badly is enough for me.

        For now.

And who would you suggest he sting?

I never find Rah early enough...

Once I did, and he actually begged not to be killed, but when you are as hard up for victories as me, that never deters me.

He had been wandering around for a LONG time that game, and I found him with an archer.

No, it was in the KC...

He said, something to the effect of "please don't kill me, I've been wandering"

Then he got defiant, and died a heroes death.

(BTW, it was pure luck that I found him, he was coming up a river, and I was going down it)

                    We restarted after that.

I think it was more like
PLLLLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEE, I've been wandering for so long, don't make it any worse.

You have to get the right tone on that please.

Yeah one of those games where you find no specials or huts, wander for 12 turns, finally find a river with no good specials but figure out it's the best you're going to get, and THEN the archer shows up. Yes, one of my brighter moments.

yes but rah, we have all had those, thats almost identical to when FF showed up with his chriots on a river i had wandered onto when he killed me.....

its his good luck or your bad.......or a combo of both...just goes to show you that the game can humble anyone

Yes, 90% of the time I agree with you on that. But in that game, I did make a bad decision and wandered longer than I should have, so I have to chalk that one up to error.

But if I remember that game, I had wandered so long, I figured I might as well keep wandering until I find something real good. Greed is an evil thing.
