  • Second Reich v1.3 PBEM

    Order of turns:

    Germany- Academia
    Austria-Hungary- MagyarCrusader
    Italy- Choke
    Russia- Darius
    Allies- ANZAC

Here is version 1.3 of the scenario. Not all the files have changes from version 1.2, but I want to post the scenario in its entirity in case version 1.2 has been deleted off some hard drvies.

The zip files are too big to all be posted at once, so download and then extract them all to the same folder. I assume everyone here knows how to properly install scenarios.

For sounds, use the ones from the original version plus the new ones uploaded.

Germany can start us off. Good luck!

            Magyar Crusader:
Did you change the railroad unlimited movement?

I was playing my turn and it seems that it hasn´t changed.

Academia, there aren't any railroads in this version.
              Unbelievable!

Yes I took the railroads out... unless I acidently included the OLD .scn file in the zip instead of the new. Did I?

mmm... i´m having some problems with the SReich.bat
It asks for a SR.sav file

I load the file; choose 1914-1916 events. But then a text says:
                      "Error opening SR.sav for update"
As a result, events commands don´t work in the game...

Yes, the events commands will work, or rather, should. That error message is just the batch program running the delevent on the sav file. However, since you are starting the game as Germany there is so sav available, and no need to delevent the .scen file.

                        -FMK.

but shouldn't it be looking for a .net file

Ooops, this is my fault. I just wish it would have been brought to my attention sooner. I didn't properly configure the batch file but its not a big deal.

                            Academia, just do this:

Take the 1914-1916events.txt file. Rename it to: events.txt. Load the scenario and it should work fine.
