We're doing all the talk on ICQ right now so we're just using this for files. I thought I'd put up a face instead of a period.
      Unbelievable!

            No, it´s not spam.
You know, i tried a multiplayer game; but there are too many units too move!!!!
The host doesn´t have a problem, but the other player has to wait an eternity to move the troops!!!

Does this really constitute spam anyhow? We are posting detailed turn reports when combat occurs, but we just put faces there on uneventful turns like the last several. Therefore how does this differ from any other PBEM?
              Unbelievable!

                      Masterstroke!!!

Facing the reality that a frontal assault on Port Stanley or Fitz Roy Base would be complete suicide, the Admiralty devised a strategy that would be codenamed "Operation Clamp". The combined Falklands Task Force was to be split into to groups: Force X, which would steam due northwest to a point just above Falkland Sound, and a considerably smaller Force T which would steam southwest to a point just south of the Sound. The objective was to unexpectedly venture into the Sound to capture Victoria Island and the western portion of Gran Soledad, as these regions would almost certainly have miniscule defenses.

So, on the 21st of May, British sailors began to see the reality of the situation as they split up and began the journey to their moments of truth. Soon after they had assumed their positions north and south of Falkland Sound without having been detected by Argentine recon, and were given the go-ahead to advance.

After a few ineffective attacks by Argentine planes, Operation Clamp began when Royal Marines made successful landings against enemy troops in and around Fox Bay. The town was quickly garrisoned by Royal infantry, mechanized regiments, and fighters. Once the area was secured, the aptly named British carrier Invincible moved forward from Force T to a position near Fox Bay. It launched every plane on board and their pilots were given orders to bomb literally every Argentine airbase that they could see. The result was a complete slaughter: every single Argentine plane in the southern half of the Falkland Islands was destroyed on the ground.

At the same time that our proud Marines were charging the beaches at Fox Bay, Task Force X was already in action. To touch off the northern offensive submarines north of San Carlos lobbed their entire payloads of Seawolf cruise missiles into the airbases of Port Howard. They destroyed all of the city's planes and opened the door for squadron after squadron of planes from the grand carrier Hermes to grind up all the ground troops in the city. The bombardment was so fierce that the town burned to the ground, to the chagrin of our troops who were there there to liberate their fellow Englishmen, not to destroy their homes. However the blame can be placed only on Galtieri, not on the tactics of the Royal Navy.

Soon after the destruction of Port Howard the wrath of Hermes was unleashed on San Carlos. After a missile bombardment destroyed most of the town's air defenses as in the Port Howard, innumerable planes cut the garrison of San Carlos to ribbons. The brave crews of a Lynx helicopter group (upon being told that no British ground troops were close enough to secure the town) took it upon themselves to take it, so it is now tenuously in British hands.

Surprisingly Hermes still had numerous squadrons remaining in its lower decks, so they were ordered to do the same as the Invincible had in the south: to bomb out Argentine airbases. They did so and destroyed an unimaginable number of Argentine planes all across the Falklands. Intel reports that all that remains of Argentina's air force are whatever few fighters they were smart enough to keep in their cities.

With the Falkland Sound in British hands, a firm beachhead on Gran Soledad from which to advance in the future, half of Argentina's ground forces annihilated, and at least 80% of the Argentine air force destroyed, the war is as good as over, and the Junta's decision on how to react will only decide how many more men will have to die, not who will in the long run be in posession of the Falklands.

I guess he means the word under your flag. For example, I'm a Prince. Your post count determines what word you get, and Deity is the highest.
