            I cringe when Markus asks for one more turn, and all of a sudden I start seeing "lots of" ships appear and start unloading 2x movement units next to my capital.

              It's Wed., so it's never too earlier to start thinking of the weekend.

              I'm stuck going to a Baptism Saturday night (I am the Godfather so it would be kinda tacky not to show up )
              Any game on Saturday night for me, will have to be later.

              Friday, it still looks like the normal time

                    Fair warning post to Ming --

                    I depart for a golf, er, business trip tomorrow a.m. and am thus unavailable to hold down my traditional slot in the Friday Night Strategic Gaming Society meeting this week.

                    And I'll miss the Bears-Pack game too
                    Industry award show that we sponsor, Monday night 6pm to 11pm Pacific time. No way out! AARGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!

                        so i found the problem...it was my isp....i had a fella come to my house and do a reinstall....seems to be running like a charm.....

                        as for civing this weekend...perhaps a late saturday game ....

                                Actually... I do. The pizza place where he used to go has been going downhill. He's tried a few others, but they aren't up to spec either. So he has been bringing over other food for the last few weeks. That's why I'm asking
