  • Civ changing colour

I played a MP game today where there was an AI english. (player quit)

Then suddenly the english changed colour and became sioux

There were still orange flags on the city's. However the citynames and units became purple.

Anyone have a clue what couses this?

How many other players were in the game and what colors where they. Sometimes if two people choose the same color at the beginning of the game, one of them will be bounced to another color and can even have the same civ name. Then if one of them quits, or the game is restarted the game tries to fix itself and some weird things can happen. This sounds like a variation of this.

Then there's the other glitch. I recall a game where two players both played a white civ.

Were they both colored white? I've seen two Roman civs one was white and the other green.

We started with Romans, Vikings, Japs, Spanish and English.

The English player quit not far into the game. And when the Jap player had to go someone joined in his place but lost connection on his first turn.
(Or quit after he saw the overall citycount and my troops near his border )

The change from English to Sioux took place right after this guy got disconnected.
Strangest thing was, while he was connecting/loosing connection the timer changed from 90 sec to unlimited

Yes that is different. But i've seen all sorts of weird things when people quit or get disconnected. (i'm betting he quit too )
