Yes, Spencer, I'm expecting to try expan/mil first. But I still hope it won't be limited to one civ and we'll be able to choose that, and the UU, so there are no arguments.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

A true test maybe, but In MP it can't really be random. Too much whining.
And I don't want a UU or characteristic hardcoded to a CIV. I want complete choice. So no whining and maximum versatility.

That's why I want the flexibility. We've seen CIVII stratagies evolve over the years. Somebody will always try something different/clever. The more flexibility the more chance that that will happen.

I agree, its always better to have the ability to choose how you want to play the game after all.....lethal bombardment on/off etc . But I doubt that we'll see options for which civ and which UU, at least not with the first MP version.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

They aren't hardcoded now. When I first got into the game heavily, learning how to play, I set my civ with all the Characteristics they have.
I was Religious, Industrious, Militaristic, Expansionist, Commercial, and Scientific.
Of course this got boring quickly.Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!Comment
