[Alexander's Horse]

Sad for you - if you visit us you'll miss the bucolic scenes as you pass the dairy.

I once saved one of their cows which had wandered onto the freeway. Yes that's right, a black and white Friesian negotiating freeway traffic!

The dairy was also useful for pointing out to the children that milk doesn't grow in cartons - though I don't think they ever believed me (Ha! Silly daddy thinks milk comes from cows!).

The cows are going to another dairy somewhere - Moggs' or something. The bucolic tone of the rural newsreader sort of lulled me off to sleep. Sorry.

But the scenery will still be nice. We'll just see turf growing instead of cows grazing.

Presumably Canberra Times readers saw the word Cow in the headline and thought it was more of Natasha.

Its interesting you should say that because I have been mistaken for a Northern Italian before. I get the similar in France. People frequently come up and talk to me in French or tourists ask me for directions.
