  • The Eternal dilemma...convincing a woman that you actually have better taste.
    Good luck with that one!

                  • We really need to get Sneak out to Australia - if he coughed for airfares, he'd have free accommodation and the like whilst here. Probably only cost him about $2000 usd to bring the family given exchange rates and the like.

                    • Mightn't even cost that much. Being on the West Coast, he's halfway here. There are very cheap flights available from LA to here.

                        • Well, I actually speak of you all quite often with Mrs. Sneak. We have discussed going to Australia on our next vacation, and I know I can get good airfare. She'd prefer Italy, I know, but I think Oz would be exotic enough to placate her.
Question is, what are local travel times from Sydney to Canberra to Carrum, etc? I don't know that a week would be enough...I think we'd need at least two. Vacation allotments are criminal in general here, and downright sadistic at my current employer....
Give me an idea of the sights, and maybe I can start lobbying now.
Hmmmm...family time with Horse, culture with Fin and two fisted drinking with Hydey....three of our mainstays.

If you want to do some serious drinking you'll have to do it with me. From what I've seen of Hydey, his prodigious drinking was all in his imagination.

                              1. Water.
                              2. One can of VB.
                              3. Cordial.
                              4. One glass of red wine.

Horse's tongue was hanging out for daquiri the other night. Mrs finbar refused. I have no idea why. Perhaps it was the daquiri she made herself the week before. Blotto after one sniff.

                              • No, Mrs finbar offered me the daquiri and got this wicked "oh please say yes" look on her face but I had to drive. I regret saying no now.

I offered Hydey some Black Label when he lobbed down here in Canberran but he declined (twice). I was completely flummoxed.
