Well, it had to happen sometime: "Civ3 XP is on the planning board" Going on the current facts (errr...rumors) it's going to include some new civs, some scenarios and if true even some MP scenarios. This means MP will 'probably' be in the XP, with some 'extra'.

While I'm still holding out against Civ3 (actually, I've simply lost interest in it to be fair) I still like to speculate on what this "turn-less"mode could be. I'm going out on a limb and say this "turn-less"mode is based on ideas previously used in Dan Bunten's Command HQ, or more recently EU. My bet is that everyone in MP will be playing against some sort of timer which goes on regardless of what your actions are (1 turn=30 secs).
A question for the people who have played Civ3 AND Civ2MP:
"seeing the way you manage your civ and units now, would it work as well in this "turn-less"mode?
