Dear friends,
The following map is a proposal to settle the borders beween our great nations. We have heard of far away border disputes and even war so we are keen to maintain peace and ensure that no misunderstandings arise...

It is well known that in the dietyland, otherwise known as the land of the fat people, that there is much wealth, and many large cities ready for plunder.

Much has been said about dietyland, but one thing stands out above all else and that is that the only thing more repulsive then there looks is their need to constantly talk. Our great leaders long ago realized these creatures have no place among the civilized world. With that thought in mind great science projects have been under taken to develop military might strong enough to drive them out. Unfortunately further details can not be made availible as they are still classified.

The Viking High Command applauds General Zylka and hopes that he will ride the world of these swamp dwellers once and for all.

Please, I think we should develop strategy and role-playing along diplo lines BASED on the elements that unfold within the game.

IF players are just secretly blind-allying then it's really not in the spirit of a good game and it encourages the rest of us to do the same.

How good a game would it be if 6 players decided to take out Markus?

I'd be against that. We have 7 good players in this game - let's play it out...

And remember everyone it is diplo with special rules. If you plan an attack it should fit in with your story lines (eg related to border disputes etc).

If one or two civs get particularly aggressive I'd expect the others to look for a balance. Ie, if one civ starts to wipe out another it is in everyone elses interest to not see one civ become the size of two civs!

My apologies to Berzerker only. With my convictions, I would have thought the same thing with any other player in the world.

Deity, you know what you did. You saw the sioux map without a tireme on it, and heard my cries that I moved around all radii. Even then, and before markus told us the information that you "never knew before", you told the new guy information that would have been tainted given the situation. Screw Zylka around with that in mind and hack it out when berz gets back, right?

I have deleted civ2 in anger, thanks to all who gave countless hours of enjoyment.

Sequence of events...

Berz said on April 21 to me on icq:

"... he telegraphed his attack at the end of the last session. Ships showed up off my capital as he begged for one more turn to settle a border dispute, I'm deadmeat"

and today before game start"
"I have to work tonite, can you find a sub and tell them about the need to rush build a trireme to attack Zylkas ships off my coast?"

So I found a sub, J23SE, and passed on this info.

You, Zylka, then carried on about not telling J23SE but I already had and I still think I should have.

Markus has explained how Berzerker may have seen your tri moving across.

Zylka has a very abusive and bad attitude. I can't see what I did wrong? You swore at me in King chat and icq and carried on like a two year old. You'll NEVER have the privelage of playing such a fine group of players ever again. You are a total loser and probably a real nasty person. I'm glad you quit.

Berz should be back to play his Sioux and Dangime will let us know if he has a problem.
