I'm going to try and post the mod pack I've been workng on for this game, and also list the changes made. All the mods were made with decreasing lag in mind. Also the game will be played on a special medium sized world map (not the included one it sucks), so things don't get out of hand as far as 100s of units.
Tech costs 1.5 times more.
Aquaducts are needed at 4, Sewers at 8.
There are no wonders.
Dreanoughts, a battleship type unit, are available with Refining.
As a result, cruisers are now battle cruisers, and are available with automobile.
Jet aviation is added, requires rocketry and gives jet fighters and bombers, the values for these fall in between normal and stealth units.
Modern Infantry is added, available with Plastics, and gets +50% defense against howiters, but only moves at 1 otherwise its the same as mech inf.
Frigates are Man-O-Wars and are the same except have 3 defense instead of 2.
Once again fascism replaces fundamentalism, it only takes 20% of your science, but only supports 5 units. The improved fanatic is the storm trooper at 7/5/1 2/1 50.
Infantry is available with machine tools and is 6/5/1 2/1 50
There are no Apline troops.
I think I covered everything major, I think everything else are just graphics mods.
