How do I get in on the multi player games? I don't have multiplayer gold edition.

Does anyone here use a downloaded generic multiplayer game?

i'd love to be able to play another human rather than the compo who reacts the same way everytime. althought I was surprisingly nuked for ending an alliance with the romans the other day.

i believe there is a patch that converts civ2 to multiplayer...if its not in the data base here you can check civfanatics out....

then you need the MP patch v1.3 to play with people online...

after that the preferred method of playing other than apolyton, civfanatics and the zone is via icq which has a games list ......or you can add people from the various forums.....

i am sure someone else will post a link to the conversion for you
