  • New diplo-trade game

    I would like to set up a diplo-trade game.
    What I have in mind:
    - - - - - - -
    - Game will be played in a succession of rounds
    - Random thin and long pacific world 10.000 tiles (250x40)
    archipelago, normal land mass, 4 bn
    -1x1x, Emperor, raging, no Ais
    -Turn based, unlimited timer, no wonders but Appolo
    -Civilization killed on retirement
    -No caravan give away

    Some rules I propose
    -If someone has to leave the game, must retire, or get a sub.
    -If someone retires, must post his civ final points on this tread.
    -No shows and drops: After half an hour tolerance waiting,
    the game must go on. The no AI-no Wonders requirement will be dealed this way:
    Someone, other than the in-game players, will join as the AI and retire.
    The only information the in-game players would receive about that civ
    is HALF the final number of points posted on this tread.

    Game will be won by reaching Alpha. Everyone must retire then and post the points
    in this tread.

    Some comments:
    War will be difficult, both by the lack of wonders and distance.
    Trade will be a key factor, because of the distance and land mass bonuses.
    Game will be played in a succession of rounds,
    because it will take some 20+ hours to complete.
    If someone cant keep playing for professional or whatever reasons,
    must gracefully retire and will earn his civ points.
    A no show will earn only half the points.
