Congrats AH, you suckered me in. I didn't recognize the URL. I had promised myself that I wouldn't visit until you had some real traffic, but Alas, you got me.
Well done. Maybe with more breaking news like that you can generate more traffic.

I assume you/he posted this on the civIII forum somewhere.

How would you know when I had real traffic if you never visit

Raz, its only an indication, though quite a strong one, that multiplayer code is present. We'd need some of our whiz software engineer civ players to find out what can be done.

have you tried psoting this info over in civ 2 general or civ 2 creation, thats where the clever people reside, the people who put together civ 2 unlimited patch, and even a MPGE edition for those with only Civ 2 SP....

If they cant figure it out no one can !!!!

And I'm not surprised to see remnants of MP code in there. There initial intent was to include it and you hate to remove code that you're going to have to put back in, so as long as it's doesn't cause any problems, you leave it in. The question is how far did they go before deciding not to finish it. I'll leave that questions to an expert that wants to spend the time to trace all the references. I'd rather play then dig through code. I do that enough at work.

Actually... it would be better to post it in the CivIII creation forum.
              (where it would belong)
Many of the people in the Civ II forums don't have the game yet
(hmmm... and now that I think of it, not everybody posting in the Civ III forum has it yet either)
              Keep on Civin'
