    4-way,no cooperation,turn based game,one session per week?
    I am pretty much flexible about anything but cooperation.

    How about that?

      Nappy has very little availability since he is getting married. As for myself I am interested in continuing our 3 player from sunday (think that markus is ready to concede this one) or start a new 3 or 4 player.

        Ya i will concede that one. Basically all cities are on a small 1 square strip of land.. I can't defend that for much longer. I think 4 players would be the best.. odd numbers suck.. and more then 4 is hard to get together and it goes so slow.

              Thursday night after 8:00pm ct or friday night after 8:00pm ct.
              Saturday morning or sunday morning (7:00 am to 12:00 pm)
              is ok with me.
              What rules?
              Here is something we tried that wasn't bad:

              King (especially to shorten the game with the lower tech paradigm)
              1* 1* No barb (or roving bands) No city and unit bribing
              No tech trade No tech stealing
              No gifts (money, units, cities)
              No taking back and forth cities
              No alliance and peace treaty
              No attack before 1000BC
              No cities on 100% defensive terrain, if you modify the land, the defensive value should still be under 100%
              Foreign trade allowed or (No more than 1 caravan to foreign cities /turn).
              No military wonder and Mike
              Sabotage and embassy OK
              Simul turns, turn based during conflicts or turn based
              Premade map with hutts that is known to everybody or 1 made by cavebear unknown to everybody
              Basically to catch up with a civ you have to attack it or have some kind of foreign trade blockade.
              Another suggestion is to assign a mission to each player: Destroyed an assigned civ or land on AC
