  • Multiplayer Question re Simultaneous Network & Internet

    Hello All,
My friends and I have recently begun enjoying Civ II (UCC & ToT) via the internet multiplayer mode. Another mate is about to return home from a bike tour across the US and so I was wondering if it would be possible to run several players on one computer (hotdesking at our place) or networking our two PC's together, and continue to simultaneously challenge our friends on the internet. We're pretty new to Civ and to internet gaming in general so any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks very much!

you cant mix and match Intrnet with LAN as such , but if the other computers on your LAN can share theinternet connection then no problem, you just get the 2nd computer to join the same IP address for the game using internet ...

Rumour has it that some people already do this, and play two civs in a MP game themsleves,\\

Only problem is it does slow down the conenction and can cuase bad lag
