    Pollution in Civ1 went crazy after you reach Future Technology 64.

    If you set your science rate to 0% and have no sciencists once when you reach FT 63,you have no problem with pollution.

      pollution only really limits you in 2x2x in 1x1x i have never seen it get out of hand

            I played a game a little while ago, 20 cities, king, future tech 500 BC. 2x production with a 1 whale 1 silk 1 coal starting position. I'm sure it can be done much earlier.
            I'm 49% Apathetic, 23% Indifferent, 46% Redundant, 26% Repetative and 45% Mathetically Deficient.

                      ahhh give me a good old fashioned MP game, especially the diplo version , and even better when my mulitpersonalities get to do some Roleplaying too ....

                      although i am enjoying succession games and they are agasinst the computer....
