I'd really like to play, but I am T-minus 30 days and counting on my firstborn child.
It does not seem very realistic to commit to anything firmly beyond that. I don't want to disappoint anyone by being a no-show, total zombie during play, etc.
But I will look through this thread and try to get an idea of the time commitment...who knows...maybe it will be my only fun time.
Nothing definite at this moment...but I've been getting better...I'm ready to test my mettle.

I will play. I learned a lot from last tournament.

I also would like to propose a score based on finished games:
You must play the game to the (bitter) end to get points. Those points will be last turn score: when a player reaches Alpha, or the game reaches last year.
If a player is wiped out, he will get half the points of the one above him. Using this rule, is easy to conclude that if someone wipes out all the others, the longer lasting player to be wiped out will get exactly half of the winner points. The second longer will get a 1/4. Next a 1/8, and so on.
If u give up, or dont show up, u will get ZERO points!
