the real desicion Horse has to make is whether he can beat me and finbar or does he give me nukes to take out half of finbars civ and ensure a Horse victory.

Yes, but I was ready for his attack anyway. That's why I was able to wipe out his capital. And move mine. And reoccupy my old capital in the same turn.
" ... and the following morning I should see the Boks wallop the Wallabies again?" - Havak "The only thing worse than being quoted in someone's sig is not being quoted in someone's sig." - finbar, with apologies to Oscar Wilde.
I was ready for his counter attack, that is why I moved my capital and reocupied my old capital and wiped out the romans all in the one turn. Next session will tell who I allow to win this game as I never could starting on the pole.
Perhaps those who did not have the balls to steel techs from finbar to get nukes will have clouds over there civ soon.

A classic piece of Hydey play here. To keep him in the game, I gifted him all my techs. I did this several times. When he stole rocketry I asked for it. "What's in it for me?" he replied

You too, huh? Early on, I gifted him sh*tloads of techs several times - not to mention money - to keep him in the game. Now the twayt nukes me. Is a pattern emerging in Hydey's behaviour?

One thing we can say I think is that by detonating that nuke Hydey signalled that he is a fully fledged player now. So be it no-one should feel bad from now on about his situation in the game

for now I will be a pain in the arse for the rest of my time in the game.
Now? Only now?

I suspect the pattern will be spend the whole game doing nothing much until he either gets wiped out or gets nukes. Then if he gets nukes fire them all over the place.
