When did I become the boss? That is, assuming you meant me, as the other member of the foursome.

I would like to continue this game; in view of Crusty's long silence, I agree that it's time to look for a sub. Shall we start the recruiting campaign?

Honoured to be invited - pleased to accept... but not willing to have any kind of competitive exam with my friend SG(1) as competitor.
My link to Apolyton din't work last night. SG(1) replied first. IMO he's your sub.
(BTW I noticed reading this thread that the 'honourable' leader of the Egyptians is just as keen on bribing peaceful trading triremes as the 'honourable' leader of the Romans I am in contact with in the Rome PBEM )

I'll look at the password problem at lunchtime. I suspect it won't be too hard to hexedit the password out of the save file.

What is the latest save? It's been such a long time now, I don't remember...

About the password:

i) Maybe Crusty didn't set one (this is the only game where I have one)

ii) Maybe it's the same as in the other PBEM where he now has a sub (easier to remember if you use the same everywhere)?
