    • For the benefit of the others - I've already changed all the mountains in Markus' terrain to grasslands, and a few of the hills too. Now he wants additional changes made. I think the current situation is more than fair to him, but I'll let the others decide. Should I give him even more grasslands?

        • 2 and possibly 3 of those red X'd cities were built on Russian claimed lands after we talked Markus. The NE one especially was blatant more than the others. If you wanted cities there you had a choice of saying so and possibly working it out. You chose to put them there against my wishes.

But we worked out a fair trade on the NE one. I deleted it after paying you and granting you trade priviledge with Mosqua.

We are relocating Van soon, and the SE one you will be deleting soon. We graciously offer you to keep the city of mutual benefit on Crimea. We also offer to aid you against any greedy or unprincipled act against your Folk.

So these cities were by no means "taken" from you as claimed. But your tresspass has been now resolved peacefully and in a MUTUALY ACCEPTABLE way.

          • A reminder to Deity that, sans daylight saving, we are now 15 hours ahead of US East Coast, so this week's game will start at midday our time. The Americans pick up daylight saving next weekend, putting us 14 hours ahead of US East Coast, giving us an 11am start, unless the Americans adjust their starting time acordingly.

              • Note to you all:

This is a fun battle you all are having, but if you stay in character and try to craft your bickering into diplomatic messages and letters it'd be a hell of alot better.

                Thanks.

Damn Daylight Savings! To avoid confusion among the majority of players, we'll keep the same start time in US East Coast time. I wish they would just abolish Daylight Savings already; just a lot of confusion to no end. We're not farmers anymore, for Pete's sake.

                    • For those of you interested in naming your cities after actual regions, I made up some tables based on the cities that were in the view of my map. They are below. First column is existing name; second is 'actual' name. For Germans, Russians, and Turks, third column is also existing name; fourth is 'actual' name.

You need to get outdoors more. Daylight Savings is God's gift to golfers. Here in Oz, our Queensland friends denounce Daylight Savings on the basis that the extra hour of sunshine fades the curtains. I kid you not.

                          • The gruelling war between the Austrian Reich and the Republic of Turkey continued for another 160 years following the destruction of Drobeta. During that time, Western Bulgaria (capital: Kirklareli) was also laid waste, and the Ipeiros region of Greece was nearly annihilated. A marauding army of Austrian crusaders was drawing nigh to Wallachia when a peace agreement was finally signed, due to battle weariness on the part of the Austrian people. Napoleon Hitler VI saw that his grip on power was fading as the costly, though mostly successful, war told on the Austrians' morale. Therefore, the Austrians agreed to a peace treaty in exchange for the cession of the small Ipeiros region (capital: Ordu). The goal of driving the Moslems out of Europe was not achieved, not by far. Nevertheless, historians generally believe that Austria made a fair return on its heavy investment in weaponry during the years 800-1080. Thus, the Crusades ended, and with them the Austrian system of Medieval Fascism tottered. After industrialization reached the Austrian Reich via specialized knowledge from Germany, the emergent middle class demanded a less rigid regime. Land reform and its attendant expected increase in agricultural productivity were demanded.

Here are the changes in the boundaries of the Balkans achieved during the years 800-1080. The areas shaded in yellow represent the territory settled by Turks during the war - territory that formerly belonged to Austria. The areas shaded in green represent Austrian conquests during the war.

Following the treaty the Austrian government hoped that a new era of mutually beneficial cooperation would arise between the Austrians and their former adversaries the Turks.

Late yesterday evening the turkish president announced a major restructuring program. Firing the enconomics, defence and cultural ministers. The new replacements have been ordered to impliment the new top secret Hypergrowth strat, dozens of times more powerful then sgs. The economics minister projects a $4.2 trillion surplus within the next 20 turns. Massive ammounts of cash has been set aside to invest in roads, railroads and city improvements in the next hundred years. The projected science plan is expected to dwarf the combined science output of all other players combined. You say i found a creative solution to my trade problems
