  • Long Term Game With the Sarge

If you forgot who I am, I am the guy who wanted to make an e-zine and skipped out. Sorry about that, but I had my priorities...**** it. Just that I'm back.

If you know who I am, listen up.

I want to start a long term game with the following provisions:

    1x Resource, 2x Move
6-7 Civs, Computer filling in for left over civs
Map 80 x 80, or some intermediate between big and medium.
    Open Game
    Civ is recyled when killed
    Trading between civs IS allowed
All nicities, Chat from start, et cetera.
    Can Steal Techs From Civs
    Goodie Huts On
No cities can be built on mountains.
    King level
    Restless Tribes
Planet type: Continents, Temperate, Warm, 3 billion, etc.

I'd like people who like to play Civ like chess, in that Alliances aren't cut in stone and likewise one can have more than one Alliance (or peaceful relationship, that is). This allows for more backstabbing or more partnership. I play to have fun and fun sometimes is fasciliating, but not participating in, a war.

I am available Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings, 2-10 and 6-12, respectively. If anyone is interested that had a CABLE MODEM, feel free to fascilitate as host.

No, Cavebear, and Alexander I hate it when people build on mountains, particularly the dorts at the Zone. Never game there.

          Please explain, Cavebear?

I couldn't agree more - it makes no sense.

There is a fairly simple solution to cities on mountains.Play 1x1.You won't see many.
