Big wars are going on in the south/middle. Spanish, french, Italy and Hungary fight every day. Lots of people are dying. English people are worried that it infects north- europe.
People are still not happy about the lands in holland/belgium. The germans do not want other comprimises and therefor they made there army stronger.
Germany has developed Steam engine. They used this technology in their navy. They designed a complete new ship, called "ironclad". A new ship, it can't transport people, but it has several big guns on board. Now why would they make such powerfull ships? We are very worried about this developement. We will give our diplomats orders to talk to the germans. England is on a island and could use such a technology for defending their cities. So, we are gonna try to get that technology from germany. We are willing to pay a fair price for it. Ironclads is a threat for england, we can't tolorate any more. We kept our hands of the Lowlands, now it's their turn to invest in peace.
