It was great to finally get to play a session again. Having only played once in the past 6 months , I reaaly missed the action. So after Deity invited me to continue palying the last game I had been involved in , I jumped in boots and all.
The AI had been in control of my civ after I had made a slow start, and after retaking control this session the wholew civ went into disorder. (Usual happeneings after AI is thrown out)
I started with 4 citys (most other civs had 8-10) and only 6 units...
I quickly changed production and by end of session had expanded to 9 citys with 15 units..
The session started with the barbs owning one of my previous citys (Damn AI let them get it) I sent my only Horse over to attack but was quickly repelled. In the end the Chinese armies came and joined in the atack and eventually took over the barb city, I increased my defences to keep the chinese hordes at bay
It was at this stage that the game was held to hostage , but taking the US line of never negotiatiing with terrosists we refused to pay the ransom, (Refer AH's post re the terrosist activities of game hijacking)
The session finished with my civ finally moving out of last position in most demographics and being placed midway on pwergraph (although a long way behiond the humans). The session also finished with much tension due to the refereed hijack attempt...
So it was Raz back to his greatest .........
