ICQ.....All multi-play should be built around it.

Well I'd love to keep this chit - chat goin' but we need to either find someone who is able to make this idea complete or we forget about the idea and not have as much fun as we could. The choice is up to anyone....ANYONE.

ICQ is great for multiplayer civ isn't it Since finding apolyton and adding all you guys to my ICQ I haven't had to go back to the zone since!

No offence Ming but why don't you just close your ICQ when your at work. I got a bunch of ICQ friends that have a cable connection and nothing bugs me more then seeing then there but they aren't home. Is it so hard to just hit the little "X" before you leave the room?!?!?!? I don't think so.

HA HA HA HA! Sure it would be easy to do. But I have other reasons for leaving it on.
I happen to moderate the OTF... I post from both home and the office. I don't really want people to know whether I'm really on line or not. I ALWAYS leave it in NA mode. This way, it keeps them guessing

Well I've done the dirty deed and created the Civ 2 ActiveList for ICQ. Not an easy process I assure you.

The number ID for the list is 85477274.

So everyone go and sign up and wait for the MP request to roll in!!!!!

How do i signup for this list???

To sign up to the list you need ICQ99b or ICQ 2000a and just click add ActiveList.
Type in the number 85477274 and voila your on the list!!!
(Be sure you type the number under search by ID)

I've figured out how to keep the list online almost all the time. ICQ doesn't even have to be open for the list to be online or my number....sooooooo I'll just make it so that when anyone opens ICQ the ActiveList will also open!!!

So that should make it a little better.
