I was planning on ice - I'd get one production off of it (from the city square), and once I got harbors and libraries(rush-buying), my cities would produce quite a bit of science from supposedly inhospitable land. Unit defense and settlers would have been a pain though...
By the way, what does everyone think of my post in the Tales thread? I finally finished it!Comment

Okay, Monday June 19th will be the next session of Diplogame IX. We will start at 8:00e, 7:00c, 6:00m, and 5:00p. Those are the starting times. The session will last three hours.

Okay, the official time and date of play is June 19th, which is a monday, at 8:00e, 7:00c, 6:00m, and 5:00p.
I hope that clears everything up, I hope everyone is there, if you know you are not going to show, you must supply a sub or we will provide one for you. Official players are:

I know we agreed to play each monday, but I really can't make it this Monday the 26th. Is there any chance at all that we could resume the next day (Tuesday) or perhaps on Wednesday?

If we don't play Mon., Wednesday would be best for. I will be taking Thursday off, so I should be able to play longer.

Tuesday is fine with me (antime after 3:30 EDT). BUT, I can't play on Wednesday until 9:15 EDT at the earliest. Actually I could be as late as 9:25 or 9:30, but should make it by 9:15. So if you all want to play Wednesday, then have everyone here ready to go at 9:15 but be willing to wait a few for me, please?
Anyway, I'll check back tomorrow to see what's happening. I'll post too in the other thread. Sorry, been a little busy...
