I once took three cities in one turn which contained Mike, Magellan, Bach, Sung Tzu, the Great Library, Marco Polo and the Pyramids.

It only happened once, though.

He was a strange fruit. Built so many wonders, but not a single city wall.

The AI would have put up a better fight.

They would have, at least, built the city walls.

A prudent advice.

Naw, for less than the cost of city walls, you can bring them down. With no other improvements 2 diplos will do the job. 60 shield vs 160. And city walls give you a false sense of security.

Yeah... city walls with only a temple are easy to get rid of. And some people get so comfortable once they have a city wall, they don't bother having enough defense.

I can't remember the last time I built a city wall in a MP game.

I can, and berz took it down the same turn.
Walls only work against the AI and Barbs.

I'm out this week. London biz trip departs Friday 8pm.
So I miss another FNSGS, golf, the first week of NFL action, and a lot of (hopefully) important baseball.
