  • Tales From the Rear :D

Played a galah last night in a 4 way game.

He declared war on me but had no surprise attack planned. All he could do is steal a few techs. He's stuck in Monarchy in the late game researching nothing. I took 3 cities and got the techs to cancel his GL and GW. He's hunkering down in a defensive posture with no clear attacks evident.

Would you declare war and not have immediate decisive atacks planned?

Please tell me it wasn't Horse. If it was though, I'll get extra popcorn.

But what do you think of the strategy? The advantages?

He might think he's slowing me down (to let another player win perhaps) but it's just a sideshow. He's even unlikely to steal more techs. His Sun Tzu will be nullified soon too.

well obviously its a **** strategy but i've often done something like this just because i was bored. more interesting defending for your life than just moving cara's around etc.

            just to stir things up

No need. Horses don't eat popcorn... or humble pie it seems

Hehe, I bought the extra extra large fat bastard size, so there is plenty to go around. We still await the Horse's response to the thread.

Hydey's doing very well in the game in question. I'm not sure how much progress he made the other night with a blood alcohol content of .99, though.
