Well, except for simul play, there are no differences.
The surprise bonus as (war4 stated) is in SP when the AI attacks a Human player. So anything that works against a Human player can be used in MP.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
